Millions of eczema sufferers are looking for more natural and safe alternatives for the relief and control of their eczema conditions. That being said, a quick search of the internet for natural eczema products will reveal that there are many sites that promote "natural" eczema products and some even tout eczema cures though they present no scientific data to support such claims. When reviewing the composition of these so-called natural products you will find that in most cases (which is about all the time) no product ingredient listings information is provided any where on most of these sites. Only a handful of these websites give ingredient listings and most of these sites provide listings that are incomplete. For example, one company list MSM and other moisturizers, while a couple others list MSM, Omega-3 fatty acids,Vitamin E, and other moisturizers. Although natural products of this type do not fall under the National Drug Act, they do fall under the National Cosmetic Act. Under the Cosmetic Act the FDA requires all companies to present full disclosure of all ingredients in their products on the label and on the sites, and this would include ingredient listings for moisturizers as well. Some consumers may be allergic to some moisturizers, particularly some nut oils and need to know this information before purchase. If most of these natural products are so safe and effective why don't these websites comply with the full disclosure statutes? Maybe its because they are just selling you natural products that you are already using or a combination of natural substances that you have tried in the past. In other words, maybe these websites really don't have anything new to offer to the alternative medicine market and this is simply "Com si Com sa" marketing practices. In any event, I strongly advise eczema sufferers to continue to look for more natural and safe alternatives to drugs and dangerous steroids but be sure to do your homework on the company and their products. You can start at Xcel Nutraceuticals.
